This breakout board was designed to solve a common frustration in college electronics labs — having to wire up the same sensor circuits on breadboards over and over again. The board provides a clean, reliable connection for popular sensor ICs with clearly labeled pin headers.
Design Process
The board was designed in KiCad, starting with a schematic that maps common sensor pinouts (I2C, SPI, analog) to standardized header positions. The PCB layout prioritizes short trace lengths for high-frequency signals and includes decoupling capacitors close to each IC footprint.
